Actually I updated our release scripts here:

We try to automate as many of the steps as possible - at the moment the scripts
output a message to the release manager to ask them to do a manual step once
the release is complete. We can eventually automate that too.
We still have some legacy release documentation that I didn't update - it
really is only kept for historical purposes and as background if the automated
steps fail. We should rework the wording to reflect that or bite the bullet and
remove it.
