I am honestly -1 on this one. pom.xml is already a leaking abstraction, having 
it into a deliverable is even worse for me. Should we do the same for Gradle, 
sbt, ivy specific deliverables? We shouldn't mix what the deliverables are with 
what repository metadata they require. pom.xml makes sense in a Maven repo, not 
in a jar.
