----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Mrinal Message 2 in Discussion Hi , Can you give the exact statement of exception that is generated , because what i feel is that till the point you are just instantiating a simple object to return it back to a client it's ok . By default if you run your webservice then page that gets rendered in browser is DefaultWsdlHelpGenerator.aspx , which is set in machine.config in wsdlHelpGenerator tag , which is quite simple and just given you a provision to view your web methods and insert appropriate parameters to get xml based result , now if i try to insert an active x control in it then it could be an issue what could be the turn around is , u can override this machine.config setting in web.config to generate a custom page , suppose test.aspx and then configure it as per your need . You can have this page in bin directory of your web service , in case problem is still not solved then we need try somethin' else as i am myself not very sure about this implementation , regards , Mrinal ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
