What you are looking for is, like we discussed in one of the UG meetings regarding Pubs.NET, presence of DB based paging. Dont use the paging of DataGrid. Its not worth it. Gives a good performance hit. On top of that, storing that big a dataset in Session isnt recommended. Having DB based paging will give better performance than storing the dataset in session, and will help application scale better.
