Review Comment:
   To be honest, I'm a bit reluctant to use resources if a plain old file 
access could be employed. The code would be a bit longer (or would require a 
utility method to be written); also, the resource mechanism relies on 
classloaders which are a lot more complex and brittle than simple file access. 
I even bumped into bugs in IDEA a couple of times when IDE was not able to see 
resources even though they were in place.
