apache-rat-plugin shares its configuration between Maven threads: under -T 1C executions apply another module's exclusions, which has been failing the license check on master regularly since June (see the ticket for runs). With 0.18 the race is worse, the root module loses its excludes entirely, so the check moves to its own serial CI step; serially 0.18 is faster than 0.17 was in parallel. The NameSet* exclusion is dropped, 0.18 creates no such temporary directories. parseSCMIgnoresAsExcludes=false stays: with the default handling 0.18 skips tracked C++ sources under modules/platforms/cpp that git does not ignore. Coverage otherwise grows by a few JavaScript files that 0.17 treated as binary. Also removed: the second XML header comment in 43 POMs that the flatten plugin discarded with a warning, and the deploy-ignite-site profile from the release instructions, gone since IGNITE-5817. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
