WangChao commented on IOTDB-866:
--------------------------------

Hi,  I have two question:
 # only export tsfile and user should copy the tsfile to local? or user could
get tsfiles from remote by the tools?
 # the exported tsfile is the origin physical tsfile generated by remote IoTDB,
or new tsfile which is generated by the query condition.

> Export tsfiles of a storage group in a time interval

>
> When we want to debug a remote IoTDB instance or analyze the data in a remote
> IoTDB, we usually copy some files to the local and start an IoTDB locally.
> It's better to allow users to export some tsfiles under a storage group
> between a time range.
>
> Design a RPC interface and add a tools to do this.
> E.g.,  ./export_tsfiles.sh root.sg startTime endTime
