@nacx, existing accounts can use the v1 service until June 1st,2014 after which their services will be [retired] (http://www.hpcloud.com/products-services/public-cloud-console). All new customers will get the v2 version of the compute service and will need to start setting this property on every call. I haven't gone through the ICLA yet and can't submit a PR for this in the jclouds repo. Can I file a JIRA for this?
