I'd be against having it in this repo if at all possible. Even if we keep only 
the most recent version (and, to be honest, I think we should also publish a 
"nightly"/HEAD Javadoc somewhere), removing and adding it is going to blow up 
this repo history.

Since we don't need any of the review etc. features that the GitHub repo 
provides for us, how about checking this directly into a (new?) SVN repo as 
part of the release process?
