Karaf 2.3.x is not going to be compatible with JRE 1.8 due to lack of support
in 3rd party bundles such as ASM and Aries. jclouds 2.0 is probably a good
release to target an upgrade to Karaf 3.0 which packages new versions of the
required bundles with JRE 1.8 support.
