Version 1 will be retired on November 2015. That leaves us ~7 months until our 
implementation stops working.

I'll have some cycles to dedicate to this so I'm reassigning this to me as I 
plan to work on this in short. The OAuth API was already promoted, so there 
should be no blockers.
