[~adriancole], A library I use relies on guava 18, which doesn't have the
closeQuietly method on the Closable interfaces. Luckily, the library in
question doesn't appear to rely on any of the new features introduced since 16,
so I could simply exclude the newer Guava version from the project, but I don't
think that's a long term solution. I don't think preventing library users from
depending on guava at newest is reasonable moving forward. I think releasing a
version of curator compatible with guava 18 would be a good idea. I'm willing
to do the work if there's assurance that it won't get reverted.
