Ignasi Barrera commented on JCLOUDS-1265:
-----------------------------------------
It would be good to know which of those docs is more recent. The only concern
is what the javadoc page says:
{quote}
The US Standard Region automatically places data in either Amazon's east or
west coast data centers depending on which one provides the lowest latency.
{quote}
It that is still true, then we should keep the US-Standard region. Otherwise,
if US-Standard is now just an alias of US-East-1, I'd say we should keep things
simple and just drop US-Standard. WDYT [~gaul]?
> AWS us-standard region got renamed to us-east-1

> AWS us-standard region, which is the default one, got renamed to us-east-1
> [1], hence in our codebase we should substitute former with the latter and
> purge "us-standard".
