Performance-wise jclouds should work at line speed. We keep a list of jclouds
users although this is a bit dated:

Generally jclouds is the multi-cloud library for Java, similar to libcloud for
Python. One of the more popular uses is S3Proxy, which translates S3 into any
jclouds backend:
