+1 for this feature. Try to summarize the key changes in V2 batch support, 1. decoupling job lifecycle from RM by early/eagerly delegating job Metadata to Metasotre 2. leave newly created batch with INITIALIZED status, and return immediately avoiding waiting for pending submission 3. server responsible for whole job lifecyle and update status to Metastore continuously 4. fetch job info from MetaStore instead of forwarding requests to engine instance -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
