   > @bowenliang123 I have talked with @AngersZhuuuu and we reached a consensus
to use the term "Hudi" in the Kyuubi codebase because Hudi should be the formal
name of the project. I'm not sure what the Hudi community thought about the
term "Hoodie", but it definitely appears in the Hudi's codebase frequently.

   > BTW, it's legal to use trademarks with the same name in different
categories, for example, if there is only a clothing brand call "Kyuubi", we
still could use this name for a Software, because there are in different
categories.

   > PS: The above is the expression of my understanding of trademarks, not
rigorous legal provisions.

What I asking is for the respect to the code of conduct. Such clarification
of course should be done by the contributor, if we have to use specific term
for any reason. No matter Hoodie or Apache Hudi.

And the description is unclear too. No even the range of cover commands of
ALTER are covered are mentioned. As we have so many alter commands for Hive \
Iceberg tables, there's no essential hints for the coverage. Simply refer to
"sweeping" concepts ALTER table commands are just not enough.
