We have the attached configuration in projects with Java8 on Debian 7.11. The
syslog appender works in 2.8.2, but stops working in 2.9.1 - the receiver gets
no log lines.
Syslog is handled by rsyslogd 7.6.3 at the sender side and 8.23.0 on Ubuntu
14.0 on the receiver side.
