This sounds great, I have been thinking about the same thing. Existing
configuration API is the largest blocker to adopting log4j2, if we can make
this work well I'd like to try implementing a similar bridge for logback
configurations. If you have some commits where you'd like another pair of eyes
or a portion you'd like me to take a look at implementing, I'd be happy to help!
