I think it probably is worth updating first. We haven't gotten any reviews on
the latest RC yet, so it's not a big deal. And while the release process still
involves a few manual steps (mainly moving the API docs into a canonical
location for the site and adding SHA sum files for some things), it's still a
fairly quick process.
