Hi [~JWT007],
IMHO it is an error (missing feature) in the code. If you believe the too,
please open [a GitHub issue|https://github.com/apache/logging-log4j2/issues].
You can also supply a correction to the documentation, using the "Edit this
Page" link on our website.
BTW: We are not actively JIRA any more for new issues, we mostly keep it around
to look and fix old issues.
