@ed-erwin-tf, Please, use our [`log4j-bom` BOM](https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/components.html) to manage dependencies, see our [Installation guide for more details](https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/installation.html#build-tool) Maven's conflict resolution algorithm can not possible know that between `apache-poi` and `log4j-core`, the latter should dictate the version of the Log4j API. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
