> Why do we keep websites for each 1.x release? Since Log4cxx follow semantic versioning, would it be enough to add `@since 1.y.0` or an equivalent Doxygen tag to the new public classes and methods? I think this was more a result of how we did the website before, it has just carried on. Things do sometimes change between releases, so sometimes you want to check how the documentation looked like for a specific release.
