@SpaceLeam, would you also mind extending tests similar to [CloseableThreadContextTest](https://github.com/apache/logging-log4j2/blob/33fff89edc688ae64e44424abef122c13cc1f5be/log4j-api-test/src/test/java/org/apache/logging/log4j/CloseableThreadContextTest.java), please? See that there are several edge cases, and some burned our fingers in the past.
