Newt names .a files with the name of the package's leaf directory. In other
words, the net/nimble/host package is transformed into a file called host.a.
This stripping of path information makes it difficult to match .a files with
their source packages.
Solution: Include full path in .a filenames. E.g., net_nimble_host.a.
