Hello Here,
Last year, I worked on White box and region testing for the mynewt OS. During
this period, with the help of wonderful mentors, I added more Unit test codes
to Json Encoding and decoding of the application, I wrote test codes for the
event queues, callouts on the OS etc.
Risk analysis happens to be part of last year's work that was pushed to another
session of GSoC.
I will like to continue from where I ended last year by ;
Running a risk analysis on the mynwet OS . Here, I am going to study the code
manually and automate some parts to checkout all the necessarily conditions and
the failed cases for the internal structure and functioning of certian parts
of the OS. Then I am going to correct any errors or omission that were not
taken care of during implementation. Together with the Mentor(s) we are going
to determine the areas to run this risk analysis .
Secondly, I am going to add more test codes to some modules that does not yet
have. Together with the Mentor, We shall determine this modules.
And Finally, I shall run a lot of regression testing on the OS Using the
already existing test Suite and then I will add to it.
