Also, import/export settings is expecting "(Build " to be in the contents of `netbeans.buildnumber` followed by a Date/Time formatted as a long and `currentVersion` is not used in the about window. You are right that one could update the branding bundle string, but doing that on update or dynamically at the moment I do believe would be a nightmare. Changing it on update would require the user to always have write permission to the install directory which may require the user to start the application as an administrator (or root). Dynamically changing it would be a nightmare because I don't know how one would go about doing that.
