   I can reproduce it when refactoring a file name. But I uncovered a new clue: 
The rename dialog doesn't mention anything about omitting the file extension, 
but the stack overflow seems to occur **only when I include the file 
extension** in the name (see image below). When I don't include an extension, I 
don't see astack overflow.
   
   _But that's only half the problem_. Whether there's a stack overflow or not, 
**the link in aadrclo.htm that points to link-test.htm is never updated** 
(i.e., no file name change).
