@BruceKHaddon I don't think the "switch to linux/mac" was actually meant seriously (but please switch to linux :)). Point is: nobody of us uses it which means the motivation is low to fix this and there are extra steps involved to even reproduce it. NB is developed in the open and relies on contributions, any dev on windows can take a look at it and open a PR. I also linked a thread where users/devs tried narrow down the problem and recommended JVM options. So have you tried those? Also, lets not derail this issue completely.
