I am getting mixed messages from this PR: milestone is set to 20 while it is building on master. I was about to test the devbuild but will stop since it is not the right branch (assuming it is supposed to go into delivery?). I would personally prefer the lowest risk approach and revert the changes and prepare a new PR for NB 21 where they have some time to stabilize. For future integrations of non-trivial PRs which have possible risks of side effects, please state what kind of testing has been done before integration (example: #6597, #6533). This should be part of the review process. And I think we all can agree that we shouldn't integrate non-trival PRs anymore if they miss the deadline. NB 20 will now essentially have one week less of maven testing since RC2 can't be used for that. (its also not the first time that this happened as we know) I would also invite everyone to the netbeans channel on apache slack again, which is quite useful esp during the release phase and can be used to answer questions and get opinions quickly if time is short. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
