For 1: I think you are looking for: https://plugins.netbeans.apache.org/catalogue/?id=37 For 2: The "automatic report" facility create many issues, where the reporter did not care about. The assumption that if there is an exception in NetBeans an issue report with just that backtrace would be helpful is false. From my POV only issue reports where authors are willing to do a minimal amout of work (extract errors from message log) are even worth looking at.
