### Apache NetBeans version Apache NetBeans 20 ### What happened Attempted for refactor name of a class. The message.log is included. The message received was: `Module Java Refactoring threw java.lang.IllegalStateException: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.sun.tools.javac.code.Symbol$ClassSymbol.isDirectlyOrIndirectlyLocal()" because "tree.sym" is null. Please report a bug against Java Refactoring module and attach your var/log/messages.log.` [messages.log](https://github.com/apache/netbeans/files/14068894/messages.log) ### Language / Project Type / NetBeans Component _No response_ ### How to reproduce I don't know if it is reproducible. What I did was to highlight the class name and then refactor->rename. ### Did this work correctly in an earlier version?
