> I downloaded it to a temporary folder. I was unable to load this version that requires Java 17. I use Java 11. Even configuring the ".conf" file in the etc folder, I can't load it because it displays the same message! I ask for help! Yes, the next version of NetBeans will require JDK 17 as minimum runtime version. But that is not really a problem: 1. Grab Amazon Corretto for your OS, choose the ZIP version: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/corretto/latest/corretto-17-ug/downloads-list.html 2. Download the ZIP and place the contents somewhere on your computer 3. Change the netbeans.conf file so that the value for `netbeans_jdkhome` points to the extracted JDK or use the command line parameter `--jdkhome` points there. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
