@xxDark Just to confirm; did the change in that OpenJDK PR fix the original problem in NetBeans, rather than just avoiding the assertion failures? Did you figure out how calling handleContentsChanged from the wrong thread could end up causing IsGettingOwnership to return true when it shouldn't?
