There will be no installers directly from Apache for NetBeans 26, and likely for future releases. This will be mentioned in the release announcement. Convenience binaries are provided directly (as in the binary zip and older installers) or via the community. The Friends of Apache NetBeans installers are the successors to the community installers that have been "blessed" enough to be listed on the download pages since NetBeans 13 - https://netbeans.apache.org/front/main/download/nb13/nb13/ The listed community installers are not releases of the Apache Software Foundation, but they are built and distributed by some of the same people. Case in point - all the macOS packages you refer to were all built and signed by me, with either an Apache certificate or my company (Codelerity) certificate.
