GitHub user PavelTurk edited a discussion: What unit of measurement does NetBeans use for fonts in the editor and GUI?
In Tools → Options → Font & Colors → Font, we can set the font size. I thought the size was specified in points (pt), but today I ran a few tests, and it seems the size is actually set in pixels (px). Am I correct? Also, should the unit of measurement be explicitly specified there? For example, in [IDEA](https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/settings-editor-font.html#typography-settings) `pt` is used. At the same time in [VS Code](https://www.alphr.com/vs-code-how-to-change-font/) `px` is used, and this is explicitly stated in the settings UI.
