the good thing about the JDK fix is that it touches files which didn't change in a while. This makes backports easy and I believe also increases the probability that it will land in all LTS JDKs NB is currently supporting - but it can take a while. There is no rush to remove the agent quickly, but once NB can run on a JDK which includes the fix, we should make sure that there is no unexpected interaction between agent and jdk fix. @matthiasblaesing might have checked this already during tests?
