Yes, it's been a known issue for a while, and the Jenkins RPM build had to work around this - https://github.com/apache/netbeans-jenkins-lib/blob/master/vars/asfMainNetBeansBuild.groovy#L159 The problem is that we don't want to change the version elsewhere because then the startup WM class and desktop launcher filename don't match for NetBeans release candidates. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
