The mixed approach is a bad sign. Not sure of what though, there were reasons to get there for sure. The archetypes are tools for nb-platform, so ideally NB should allow to pick a newer one if a new platform release needs archetype changes. NB allows picking platform version when creating a nbp app, but uses always the last archetype... Not worth for now.
