So I was right. The SuSE Tumbletweed setup is broken by default for your usecase. The packages that are installed are (I choose Gnome Desktop installation for testing): - java-25-openjdk - java-25-openjdk-headless With that setup the problem exists. HOWEVER if you install the missing java-25-openjdk-devel package all is well. That packages also hold javac, so it is kind of not too surprising. Tumbletweed by default can execute Java programms, but you can't develop Java programms. _That_ is why I asked to test with a "real" JDK. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
