Taher Alkhateeb commented on OFBIZ-7963:
----------------------------------------

Yeah I understand your point. I'm just trying to set priorities. As we probably
discussed before, I have in mind many plugins that would improve our build
(sonar, cobertura or Jacoco, checkstyle, PMD, FindBugs, JDepend).

However, the above plugins really do not shine unless we first cleanup the code
base. I think installing these gradle plugins "now" in OFBiz is like trying to
dig a hole with a teaspoon. It's just not very efficient because the code base
is not yet ready for it. Cleaning it up is the key to introducing more QA
plugins and features.

> As ever the devil is in details. There is no longer a Sonar plugin available
> https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/sonar_plugin.htmland we should
> rather refer to
> http://docs.sonarqube.org/display/SCAN/Analyzing+with+SonarQube+Scanner+for+Gradle
> Anyway the most important part is to revivify INFRA-3590
