Hello Scott,
I would prefer to start from your work than to start from zero, if you feel
like sharing your PoC then I'd love to start from there. I would share my ideas
for GraphQL perhaps _after_ I get a better idea of your work, at which time I
can make more informed suggestions.
One point I'd like to add is that maybe we should consider evolution over
revolution. Fully replacing the services with this API might be too much of a
superman task unless perhaps we do it slowly and gradually (and only if that
makes sense / is necessary).
Finally, I don't know what the rest of you fine folks would like to do, but for
me I'd like to start with Scott's initial suggestion and create a library
around it. This library / API should form the kernel of what we want to do and
build on top of, so it's a necessary step 1. If you'd like to help or work on
this yourself please inform me so that I can give you your space for that.
Otherwise I can perhaps work on a patch and collaborate with you on it in here.
Ideas and suggestions are welcomed.
