My observations suggest that this issue only appears when {{[Always View Cart
After Adding An Item]}} is checked, either on the showcart page (modifycart),
or in the {{EditProductStore}} page in the Catalog Manager, section
{{ShoppingCart}}, option {{[View Cart On Add]}}.
