Hello Aayush,
As per my exploration, a new record is created after capturing the payment and
the record of authorizing payment remains as it is.
If we try to capture those authorize payment which is already captured then we
will be redirected to the already captured payment screen.
IMO it is not a bug, it is used to maintain the history of the record.
