AFAIK, it works only if you are a member. I want to be able to do the same than
with HipChat where we could automatically invite people (not members).
See the HipChat link from the bottom of OFBiz site. Then you get to the HipChat
room where the Guest access is on with an URL to share (the one used in the
link from the site).
I have used Slack extensively during most part of 2014, but not since. Anyway
it was as an user, I did not administrate it. If someone has an idea for
automatic (guest) invitation let us know. Else we will wait ASF official
annoucement and hopefully advice, if this feature exists...
