Pierre Smits commented on OFBIZ-10776:
--------------------------------------

Every application of 'language' leads to what one man may regard as cryptic
while obvious for (many) others. It all depends on understanding the context.
OFBiz is already laden with what can - obviously - considered as cryptic.
Consider the occurrences of, ctx, dctx, orh, and all other abbreviations in
OFBiz (code) files, that can be regarded as such.

So one more does not have that much significance with respect to avoiding such
confusion.

While your argument 'everything is cached' holds some merit, the benefit -
obviously measurable - lies in other areas. Consider every download, upload,
backup, cache refresh, etc. Every one of those has real impact on storage,
data-transfer, cpu and memory. And the money equivalent (the benefit of the
reduction/save) of those aspects is very visible in environments such as AWS.

Lean-and-Mean is always favourable over Fat-and-Bloated. That is why OFBiz also
has 'cryptic' abbreviations and minimised javascript files.
