Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-10536:
-----------------------------------------

Hi Priya,

This was indeed added with http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1040908&view=rev.

Though, it does not make sense to me to show the UOM dropdown with options
"box: 2", "box: 5" for a product like
"Giant Widget with variant explosion" which is a "Giant Widget with Wheels":
WG-9943 Sizes Available: 3-Wheel , 4-Wheel.
We can select the color and the number of weels (so obviously it's a vehicle)
but why select a number of boxes for this product (who sells vehicle by pairs
of boxes? ;)) But let's forget that point and accept that it's OK like that.

The problem here is that after having added WG-9943-B3-BX2 or WG-9943-B3-BX5
you stumble upon a screen which shows again the UOM dropdown and you are stuck
with it. So even if it does not make much sense but we accept it's OK there is
still a problem. And I guess this problem is related with Bootstrap changes,
like were fixed for OFBIZ-10663 by [~deepak.dixit] recently...

> Giant Widget with variant explosion: a "Select Unit of Measure" dropdown box
> appears with no reason.
