Yes agree, we can use hardcoded date in the lookup to fetch the record to get
more clarity. As we are checking thruDate in the asset we can't use
filterByDate().
[~rohit.hukkeri] and I had already discussed the conversion of service to
entity-auto, which will be done in a separate ticket instead of this one.
