I have just created a PR for this ticket.
Could you please have a look and provide your inputs.
- Until payment is applied on the order, this reference number will be stored
in the field ManualRefNumber on OrderPaymentPreference
- On payment application, it will copied to the Payment in the field
PaymentRefNum
