Thanks for the explanation. I have not specific request about the component. I
just went there and got a 404 so reported.
About

servlet and controlfilter because of all the processing they do which may not
be required for REST.
I did not follow closely your work on REST. So I don't know if you need a
webapp. You are best placed to decide on that.
