Is it possible?
If not have this corrected asap, before:
# some adopter disqualifies OFBiz for implementation in his/her/their
organisation (when evaluating it), because of needing to fix this regarding his
definition of MVP (on top of all the others - another nail in the coffin).
# some other contributor thinks this is gospel and provides a similar set of
changes somewhere else (with respect to adding, updating, etc Party* records in
components not primarily focused on parties, like party, humanresi, sfa)
Business tend to follow (strict) protocols who can do what, where, when and
how.
Before registering a new quote, they would have a request (for a quote) and
OFBiz provides functionality for that too, and before that they would have
verified that the party doesn't exist as registered party (to make sure that
they wouldn't create the same party over and over and over again) before they
create a new party. Only then they would add the request to the party, and the
quote to the request.
